Polyurethane can be applied onto 7 to 10 day old concrete after adequate preparation by shotblast. Polyurethane Cement can withstand certain limitations of moisture/vapour transmission from the substrate below. Polyurethane Cement will withstand a wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, amines, salts and solvents. It will perform and retain its physical characteristics through a wide temperature range from -40°C (-40°F) up to 120°C (248°F). The System is Steam cleanable at (1/4 – 3/8 in) thickness. Abate and Associates Inc will collect all data relating to the environment the system will be installed in such as chemicals spilled, temperature of water, temperature of floor, required abrasion resistance and will recommend the appropriate system for the area.
